How to register your digital signature on MahaTenders

MahaTenders (mahatenders.gov.in) is Maharashtra's centralized e-Procurement portal, registering your DSC correctly is required before you can bid on any tender.

Registering your DSC on MahaTenders

You'll need a valid Class 3 Combo DSC before starting this process, since bid documents are encrypted.

Enroll as a bidder

Visit mahatenders.gov.in, click 'Online Bidder Enrolment', and fill in your company details, PAN, email and mobile number.

Verify your account

Complete the captcha and verify your registration via the OTP sent to your mobile, then confirm via the email verification link.

Log in to your account

Once verified, log in using your new credentials.

Go to the Signing Certificate section

Navigate to your profile's 'Signing Certificate' or 'DSC' section, this is where you map your Class 3 DSC to your bidder account.

Plug in your USB token

Make sure your Combo DSC token is connected and its drivers are installed before this step.

Upload / map your DSC

Select 'Upload' or 'Map Certificate', choose your DSC from the connected token, and confirm.

Start bidding

Once your DSC is mapped, you can search tenders and submit encrypted bids using your registered certificate.

Common registration issues

If your DSC isn't recognized during mapping, check that you're using a Combo (not Signing-only) certificate, MahaTenders requires encryption for bid submission, same as most government e-procurement portals. Also confirm your browser's security settings allow the signing utility to run, and that your token drivers are current.
