An expiring DSC doesn't need to disrupt your GeM bidding, here's how to plan and complete the renewal.
Start your DSC renewal at least 2-3 weeks before expiry if you have upcoming GeM bids or orders, this gives enough buffer for verification, issuance, and re-registration on GeM before you actually need it.
Complete the standard renewal process with your CA or issuer, video verification and reissuance.
This may load onto your existing token, or come as a new one, depending on your token's age and condition.
Go to your GeM profile's DSC section and register the renewed certificate, your old registration doesn't carry over.
Sign a low-stakes document to confirm the new certificate works correctly before relying on it for an actual submission.
