DGFT Troubleshooting
If your DSC isn't signing correctly on DGFT, here's what usually causes it.
| If you see this | Try this |
|---|---|
| Certificate not linked to correct IEC | Confirm your DSC was issued against the specific IEC you're filing under, a mismatch will block signing. |
| Token not detected | Reconnect the USB token, try a different port, and confirm drivers are installed and current. |
| Signing fails on specific applications (like MEIS/RoDTEP claims) | Some incentive scheme applications require the certificate to be freshly re-registered even if it works elsewhere on DGFT, try re-registering. |
| Certificate expired | Renew your DSC, DGFT will not accept signing from an expired certificate. |
| Browser compatibility issues | Try Chrome or Edge if you're experiencing signing failures on another browser. |
We provide remote troubleshooting support, and can issue a fresh IEC-linked DSC if yours needs replacing.
They're separate portals with separate registration, working on one doesn't confirm registration or compatibility on the other.
Most DGFT filings work with a Signing DSC, though some specific schemes may require Combo, confirm before applying if unsure.
Many issues (token connection, browser, drivers) are fixable yourself, certificate-specific problems like expiry or IEC mismatch need your CA or issuer involved.
