DGFT Guide
A DGFT DSC is linked to your IEC, here's how to register it once your certificate is issued.
A Class 3 DSC issued against your IEC (Import Export Code), on a USB token, and your DGFT portal login credentials. If you don't have an IEC yet, that needs to be obtained first, a standard Signing DSC can actually be used to file the IEC application itself.
Go to dgft.gov.in and log in with your registered IEC credentials.
Look for 'Register DSC' or 'Digital Signature' under your profile or dashboard settings.
Plug in your DGFT-linked DSC token and ensure it's detected by your system.
Choose your DSC from the list, enter your token PIN, and complete the registration.
DGFT and ICEGATE are separate portals with separate DSC registration steps, even though both relate to your import-export activity. If you file on both, you'll typically want a Combo DSC (since ICEGATE requires encryption) registered separately on each.

DGFT filings specifically require a certificate linked to your IEC, a general-purpose Organization DSC may not be accepted, check with us if you're unsure which you have.
