MCA Guide
If you're a company director, your DSC needs to be linked to your DIN specifically, here's the process.
Your Director Identification Number (DIN) is how MCA identifies you as a director across every company you're associated with. Associating your DSC against your DIN, rather than just your general MCA login, ensures your signature is correctly recognized on director-specific filings like DIR-3 KYC and board resolutions.
This uses the same Associate DSC flow as general MCA registration, with your DIN specifically as the identifier.
Use your registered email and password for your Director account specifically.
Select the option to register your certificate.
The portal will ask for your DIN alongside your PAN to confirm your director identity before linking your DSC.
Plug in your USB token, select your certificate, and enter your PIN to complete the association.
We issue Individual DSCs suited for director-specific MCA filings including DIR-3 KYC and board resolutions.
A DSC is issued to an individual, if you hold multiple DINs across companies (which isn't standard practice, DIN is meant to be unique per person), your one DSC would apply to your identity, not per-DIN.
Any mismatch between your DSC's name/PAN and your MCA director profile will cause association to fail, ensure both match exactly.
Yes, re-associate your renewed DSC the same way after every renewal or replacement.
