Setup Guide
Everything you need to install, from your token's driver to the signing software each portal requires.
Every USB token brand (Proxkey, InnaIT, HypSecu, ePass, Bit4id) needs its own manufacturer driver, download it from the official brand website, never a third-party source.
This lets your system recognize and manage the certificate stored on the token, usually bundled with or alongside the driver.
GST needs emSigner, MCA and Income Tax need emBridge, ICEGATE needs its own PKI component, install whichever your target portal requires.
A full restart, not just a page refresh, after any driver or middleware installation.
Before relying on it for an actual filing, sign a test document to confirm everything works end-to-end.
Installing drivers from unofficial or third-party sites, not restarting the browser after installation, and having multiple token utilities from different brands running simultaneously are the most common causes of installation-related signing failures.
We guide customers through the full installation process, from driver to first signature, regardless of which CA issued your certificate.
Always from your token manufacturer's official website, third-party download sites can carry outdated or unsafe versions.
Yes, portal-specific signing middleware varies, GST uses emSigner, MCA and Income Tax use emBridge, ICEGATE has its own PKI component.
Once your driver and the relevant portal's middleware are installed, you simply connect your token and select your certificate when a portal prompts you to sign, entering your PIN to authorize each signature.
